FAIRS AND EVENTS WE ATTENDED THIS MONTH
February is a month full of events, on 10th, 11th and 12th of February we took part, with our wines, at the Vino Nobile Preview 2024. An event organized and promoted by the Consorzio del Vino Nobile di Montepulciano in a special location, the Fortezza Medicea, via di San Donato 21 in Montepulciano.
This year, according to tradition, one of the most looked forward events by wine enthusiasts and experts was celebrated in the heart of Tuscany: the Vino Nobile di Montepulciano Preview. An occasion that in 2024 celebrates its 30th birthday becoming the most long-lived wine-event in Italy. It is also the perfect opportunity to taste a preview of one of the best wines in the world in an exclusive context, as only the Fortress of Montepulciano can be.
The program includes tastings of Vino Nobile with the 45 wineries, including our Casa Vinicola Triacca, and masterclasses held by FISAR Delegation Valdichiana, AIS Toscana, ONAV and FIS.
The main vintages were those ready to be placed on the market, so the Vino Nobile di Montepulciano 2021, with its two years of ageing imposed by the disciplinary, and the Riserva 2020. On these occasions, it was also possible to taste other wines typical of the area, including the two DOC wines, Rosso di Montepulciano and Vin Santo di Montepulciano.
The ideal excuse to discover, or rediscover, Tuscany and its charming little towns and pay a visit to our Santavenere Estate, Road to Pienza 39, in Montepulciano.
